Pisicuța mea

Am primit într-o zi o pisicuţă,                                          

Era frumoasă şi drăgălaşă,

I-am pus numele Kiwi

Acelei micuţe hoaţe de inimi

Bolnavă a fost sărăcuţa

Şi nu-i mai tăcea guriţa,

După ce s-a-nsănătoşit

Din plâns şi-a revenit

 

Acum pisicuţa mea

Se mai plimbă-n pădure,

Ar cutreiera-o toată ziua

Şi nu pentru a culege fragi şi mure

 

Kiwi de curând s-a-mprietenit

Cu o mică veveriţă

Şi-mpreună un plan au întocmit

Să-i facă o glumă câinelui Bobiţă

 

Când îi dau voie să iasă afară

Felina mea se şi urcă-n copaci,

De haita de câini din vecini astfel se apără

Şi se fereşte şi de alte pisici

Prietenei mele blănoase-i place o anumită grădină din vecini

Mai mare şi mai îngrijită decât a noastră

Iar vis-a-vis locuiesc doi motani,

Taţi ai puilor ei, de care-acum noile lor familii se bucură

 

Şi dacă mai face câteodată prostioare

Nu mă supăr pe ea căci aduce vieţii mele savoare,

Ea nu este un simplu animal de companie

Pentru mine face parte din familie

 

Un animal are, precum oamenii, nevoie de îngrijire şi iubire

Şi este o responsabilitate foarte mare

Căci el sau ea - ţi aparţine pentru totdeauna,

Nu poţi pur şi simplu abandona.

I got a kitten one day,

She was well behaved and pretty,

I named her Kiwi

That little thief of hearts

 

The poor kitty was ill

And she did not shut her mouth,

After she was treated by the vet

She stopped from all the crying

 

Now my sweet little kitten

She's walking in the woods,

She would roam it all day

And not to pick strawberries and blackberries

 

Kiwi recently became friends

With a little squirrel

And together they made a plan

To make a joke to the dog Bobita

When I let her out

My cat climbs trees,

She protects herself  from the dog pack in the neighborhood

And she is beware of other cats of the neighborhood

My furry friend likes a certain neighbor's garden

Bigger and neater than ours

And opposite there live two cats,

Fathers of her cubs, which now their new families enjoy

 

Even if  she sometimes will be naughty

I don't mind her because she brings flavor to my life,

She is not just an ordinary pet

For me, it's part of the family

 

An animal, like humans, needs care and love

And it is a very big responsibility

For he or she belongs to you forever,

You can't just abandon it.
